Our Constitution
BSides Leeds Groups primary aim is to host an annual BSides Security Conference in Leeds UK.
In keeping with the main BSides Security Guidelines the events shall be adhered to, along with keeping the main BSides organisation informed of our events
Do not sell out: This means do not sell or give away participant information. There should be no sales pitches in the talks. There is no “pay for play”, that is, sponsorship does not include speaking rights, and speaking positions are not to be sold.
Note: we do want sponsors to be active and engaged participants of BSides events.
Keep it Open: Financially the event should never be for profit and any surplus money from an event should be used towards future events or donated to charity.
All events will have and enforce a code of conduct, which will be published before and during each event.
